What's New!

Hello Everyone!

I hope all is well with you and your family. I haven't wrote a blog post since July. Let's just say dealing with my kids' new school year has been very interesting and challenging. In this blog post, I want to share some exciting highlights that has happened in the past three months

July:

  1. We successfully completed our first annual summer teen financial literacy series, The feedback was great by both the parents and teens. The speakers were exceptional too!

August:

  1. We have recruited four new board members to help move the organization to the next level.

  2. We created a 9-session youth financial literacy program with a local summer in New York. The kids ages ranged from 5-10 years old. The sessions were very engaging!

September:

  1. Our organization has become an official vendor with a county in New York. This means that schools can allow us to provide programs to their public schools.

October:

  1. We partnered with Bronx HS for Law and Community Services and did a youth public speaking workshop series. The teens were great. The live presentations were inspirational and emotional.

In the works:

  1. We are in discussions with three organizations to provide financial literacy programs in late 2020 and 2021.

  2. We are planning for our second annual youth business pitch competition. The tentative date will be May 22nd. Save the date and look out for more information coming soon.

  3. In the process of planning a 2021 youth public speaking workshop series for open to all youth no matter their location.

  4. We will be planning other programs such as the second annual summer financial literacy series and more.

What Is Needed:

  1. We are in need of donations to pay for expenses such insurance and other program expenses.

  2. We are always in need of talented volunteers. All skills are welcome and needed. You can contact us at info@cryptojmeansbusiness.org.

  3. We are interested in looking for potential partners or sponsors for our upcoming programs. We would like to increase the prize money for the pitch competition.
