Let's learn a little more about the panelists:


Dr. Nana Yaw Adu-Sarkodie


He is Deputy Director of Geriatrics and Extended Care in the VA Maryland Health Care System. Geriatrics and Extended Care Services (GEC) help to optimize the health and well-being of Veterans with chronic conditions or life-limiting illness. He sees older adult patients in his office and also in their homes. He also trained in Battlefield Acupuncture in order to better treat his patients with pain.


Dr. Adu-Sarkodie completed his undergraduate degree from the City College of New York, with a B.S in Biomedical Education, completed his Masters in Public Health, with a concentration in Population and Family Health, from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and his Medical Degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed both a residency in Family Medicine and a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine, at the Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Dr. Adu-Sarkodie is a children’s book author, a Health & Wellness contributor for the Karen Hunter Show on Sirius XM, and an avid comic book collector.


Vanessa Madkins


She has been a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated for three years and was originally inducted into the Eta Nu Sigma Chapter, Brooklyn Alumnae. But now, she is a part of the Nu Beta Sigma Alumnae Chapter in Queens, NY. She has spent her career working in the Financial Service Industry as a Licensed Financial Service Representative, where she specialize in Retirement Planning, Deferred Compensation Plans, IRA and ROTH IRA education and enrollment. She currently work in the private sector.

She was born and raised in Corona, Queens, but now reside in Saint Albans, NY. She is the mother of one son and a proud graduate of the City College of New York (CUNY), with a degree in Media Communications. When she is not working, she loves doing community service throughout the Southeast Queens area.


Jaqueline Prince-Espinosa


She has been a member of Sigma Gamma Rho, Incorporated for over 20 years. Originally inducted into Lambda Omega chapter, she is now a part of Nu Beta Sigma Alumnae Chapter in Queens, NY. Throughout her career, Jacqueline has been at the forefront of community driven programs and her passion led her to a career in health care administration. Jacqueline currently works as an Assistant Vice President for one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit health insurers. Born and raised in Brooklyn and mother of two; urban expectant mothers and children are Jaqueline’s passion. She’s been a commentator of state Doula programs and she is devoted to the non-for-profit community. Jacqueline is a proud graduate of CUNY.


Kunle Ekundare


Kunle is a 19-year member of the Comcast family, currently serving as Sr. Director Product Development for Comcast. In this role, he is responsible for leading the development of current and future DOCSIS Gateways and Comcast’s retail product certification program. His team focuses on products geared to improving the customer experience while delivering video, voice, data and advanced services to customers.


Beyond his position at Comcast, Kunle also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business, as a Professor of Organizational Behavior and Leadership Development. Kunle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Temple University and an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Drexel University.



Jamaal Solomon (Host)


Jamaal Solomon is the Founder and Executive Director of Crypto J Means Inc. Jamaal is a passionate speaker who loves creating financial literacy programs for all ages. He has appeared on the Google stage twice in New York City and created a highly respected entrepreneurship workshop series for his local fraternity chapter. Jamaal created also cryptocurrency themed workshops called “Crypto J,” which incorporates teaching adults, children, and small business owners about blockchain technology, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. Jamaal prides himself on creating unexpectedly creative and engaging workshops. Jamaal has received several awards based on his financial literacy and entrepreneurship advocacy. He has a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master’s degree in taxation.
